After arriving at lower Rathalas and dispatching Khornak scouts, Tas-son-Dar bonded further with his Spren, Lines. In the city, the group met Ubo, a flamboyant Herdazian carpenter who tasked them with finding the Bandit Queen or her second, Teryn, in exchange for information. During this meeting, Erytl Photrak began experiencing grim visions of her own death after a curious chicken landed on her shoulder.

On their way to the prison, the group fought off rabid axehounds and encountered a familiar Ardent from Kholinar, who warned them he was being hunted by a mysterious red-haired woman.

The Prison Break
Upon reaching the prison, the party successfully liberated several key allies:

• Axies the Collector: A scholar of Spren requested by the King’s Wit.
• Jirani: An ally sent by Taszo.
• Tuxlani: A singer who joined their escape.
• Teryn: The Bandit Queen’s right hand, who left to rally a resistance against the tyrant Ylt.

The group also confronted Kaiana, who admitted Ylt—acting under orders from Palliah—had become too bloodthirsty, though she remained hesitant to fully defect.

Confrontation and the Grey Remnant
Attempting to exit via a side passage, the group was captured by Ylt’s zealots and brought before him during a fervent speech about the Everstorm. A brutal battle erupted on a stone platform after Ylt attacked with Taln’s Honorblade. The platform collapsed during the fray, and though Sha narrowly survived a near-fatal blow, the group defeated Ylt’s guards, prompting Ylt to vanish in a flash of light.
Current Status: Axies has led the group to a passage housing the Grey Remnant, an ancient Spren that demands a personal truth in exchange for answering one question.
